[FFA] Seminar on Equipping Accounting Students with Career Readiness Skills

In order to create a dynamic learning environment that bridges academic theory with professional practice, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Lac Hong University, organized the March 2026 Accounting Club session under the theme: “Career Preparation for Accounting: Practical Skills and Professional Experience.”

The program was designed to provide students with an academic platform for engagement while supporting the development of professional competencies, enhancing the application of theoretical knowledge in practice, and offering clear career orientation in the field of accounting.

The session was held on the afternoon of March 26, 2026, at Room B203, with the participation of accounting faculty members, an industry guest speaker, and a large number of interested students. A highlight of the event was the presentation delivered by Mr. Tran Su Minh, representative of An Duc Accounting Software and Tax Agency Co., Ltd., who possesses extensive practical experience in accounting and tax consultancy.

During the session, the speaker shared valuable insights into essential professional skills, real-world working experience, and employers’ expectations for recent graduates. Various practical aspects of accounting work were analyzed in detail, enabling students to gain a clearer understanding of the professional environment and the competencies required to adapt and succeed in their careers.

In addition to the expert presentation, the program featured an interactive discussion segment, allowing students to engage directly with the speaker through questions and exchanges. This interaction provided students with meaningful exposure to real-world professional contexts, thereby enhancing their soft skills, professional mindset, and confidence as they prepare to enter the labor market.

The Accounting Club activities not only contribute to improving learning outcomes but also reflect the Faculty’s educational orientation toward practice-oriented training, skills development, and student-centered support. Moreover, such initiatives play a significant role in fostering a dynamic academic environment and attracting prospective students to pursue studies in Accounting at Lac Hong University.
