[FFA] Finance and Banking Students Engage in Experiential Learning at MB Bank – Dong Nai Branch

On the afternoon of April 11, 2025, 45 students from class 22NH111, majoring in Finance and Banking under the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Lac Hong University, participated in a practical learning field trip to the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB Bank) – Dong Nai Branch, located at K23 Vo Thi Sau Street, Thong Nhat Ward, Bien Hoa City.

This experiential learning visit is one of the annual activities organized by the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, aiming to enhance the practical component of the academic program. Through direct exposure to the banking environment, students had the opportunity to update their practical knowledge, observe operational procedures firsthand, and deepen their understanding of financial and banking operations currently applied in the industry.

Under the guidance of Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Thi Kim Loan – academic advisor, and Ms. Le Thi Thuy Dung – in charge of internships and business relations, the student delegation was warmly welcomed by representatives of MB Bank – Dong Nai Branch. The program began with a general introduction to the bank and its operational model, followed by an interactive session between the bank’s representatives and the students.

Representatives from MB Bank – Dong Nai Branch shared extensive practical experience in customer management, credit and deposit operations, digital banking services, as well as criteria for candidate evaluation in recruitment. The bank emphasized: "MB Bank is always looking for candidates with a positive attitude, a growth mindset, and adaptability in a dynamic work environment—especially teamwork and creative thinking skills, which students should begin cultivating from now." The bank also expressed its interest in continuing to collaborate with the university in future internship, recruitment, and training programs.

On behalf of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Thi Kim Loan extended sincere thanks to the management team of MB Bank – Dong Nai Branch for their warm hospitality, valuable sharing, and strong support in providing students with real-world exposure. She remarked: "These field trips not only broaden students' academic knowledge but also help them build confidence, develop professional thinking, and gain clearer career orientation."

The visit concluded in an energetic and inspiring atmosphere. It served as a testament to the strong university–enterprise collaboration in education and reaffirmed the Faculty of Finance and Accounting’s commitment to creating the best possible conditions for students to develop comprehensively in both knowledge and professional skills.
