Have you ever wondered:
- What truly makes us happy?
- Why do some things we believe will bring lasting happiness not turn out as expected?
- How can we build a more positive, meaningful life and improve our well-being?
With the theme “The Science of Happiness”, ASU Master Class 2026–2027 offers participants an opportunity to explore happiness through the lens of modern psychological science. Drawing on content from the ASU Master Class and combining it with discussion and reflection activities, the workshop explores the factors that contribute to a happy and meaningful life.
What will you gain from this master class?
- Understand happiness scientifically: Explore important dimensions of well-being, including life satisfaction, positive emotions, negative emotions, and meaning in life.
- Discover what truly shapes happiness: Examine the difference between what we think will make us happy and what scientific research actually shows.
- Connect the ideas to your own life: Reflect on experiences, habits, and factors that may support happiness and well-being in study, work, relationships, and everyday life.
- Experience and connect: Take part in discussions, sharing, and interactive activities that connect scientific ideas about happiness with your own real-life experiences.
Join us to explore fascinating scientific perspectives on happiness, reflect on what truly matters in our lives, and connect with others who share an interest in living more positively and meaningfully.
