LHU shares experience in Learning Outcomes Assessment and Digital Tool Development at ASEAN AUN-QEx Forum

On September 8, 2026, Lac Hong University (LHU) participated in the 1st University Qualifications Excellence Online Forum: ASEAN Tuning Experts Reunion. The event was organized by SEAMEO RIHED in cooperation with the ASEAN University Network (AUN), bringing together experts and higher education institutions from across the ASEAN region.

The forum was organized to connect experts, lecturers, and higher education institutions that had participated in TA-SE, CALOHEA, and AUN-QEx. It also provided an opportunity to share implementation experience, good practices, and lessons learned in developing learning outcomes, assessing learning results, and improving the quality of university qualifications.

AUN-QEx (AUN Qualifications Excellence) is an AUN initiative that builds on the results of TA-SE and CALOHEA. The program aims to improve the quality, comparability, and recognition of academic programs, learning outcomes, and qualifications among higher education institutions in the ASEAN region.

At the forum, Lac Hong University (LHU) participated as a presenter, represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Phuong Truong, who delivered a presentation titled “From Learning Outcomes to Evidence: Our Experience in Learning Outcomes Assessment and Digital Tool Development.” The presentation highlighted LHU’s practical experience in measuring the achievement of learning outcomes, using data as supporting evidence, and developing digital tools to assess student learning outcomes. Through this presentation, LHU shared its approach to using assessment results to identify areas that do not meet expected standards and inform continuous curriculum improvement.

Lac Hong University’s participation in the forum was also aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 17 (SDG 17) – Partnerships for the Goals. Through this activity, the University contributed to strengthening cooperation among higher education institutions in the region and promoting the sharing of experience, effective practices, and solutions to improve the quality of education.
